    Local ExxonMobil Employees Set Campaign Record

ExxonMobil today announced that its employees and companies in the Metropolitan D.C. area have raised a record $1.9 million for non-profits during its recently concluded "Employees' Favorite Charities Campaign."

"Our employees did an exceptional job this year in showing support for the community where we live and work," said Mark Merrill, 2005 ExxonMobil Employees' Favorite Charities Campaign Chair, and Vice President of Planning, ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing Company. "This has been a particularly challenging fundraising year for many local organizations, and our employees understand this. We hope that our record-breaking efforts, with over 96% of our employees contributing this year, will go a long way toward meeting the needs of many local charities."

Employees and ExxonMobil this year increased their financial support for local non-profit organizations by almost 10% versus last year. The ExxonMobil Employees' Favorite Charities Campaign provides employees with the opportunity to give to any local charity, with 100% of the employee contribution going to a designated charity. In addition, Exxon Mobil Corporation provides a corporate contribution that is distributed to 185 local health and human services non-profit organizations based on aggregate donations from employees.
