Thompson, Symantec's chairman and chief executive officer, will keynote at the RSA(R) Conference 2006 on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. PT. Other Symantec speakers include James Socas, senior vice president, Corporate Development; Lawrence Dietz, senior marketing director; and Samir Kapuria, principal security strategist. RSA Conference 2006 is being held Feb. 13-17, at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif.

Kapuria is scheduled to present "Security Solutions: Managing Risk," part of the Security Solutions track, on Thursday, Feb. 16, at 3:25 p.m. PT. This session will explore how to create an effective risk management program while sustaining a flexible infrastructure, focusing on identification, assessment, development, compartmentalization, and management.
