Limited Brands Reports March 2006 Sales

COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Limited Brands (NYSE: LTD) today reported a comparable store sales increase of 2% for the five weeks ended April 1, 2006 compared to the five weeks ended April 2, 2005. Net sales increased 3% to $788.2 million compared to net sales of $766.1 million last year.

The Company reported a comparable store sales increase of 3% for the nine weeks ended April 1, 2006. Net sales increased 3% to $1.424 billion compared to net sales of $1.377 billion last year.
