Jones Apparel Group, Inc. Announces the Following Appointments
Within Its Denim-Based Collection Businesses:
Tami Fersko to Chief Financial Officer and Joe Kaelin to Controller NEW YORK, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wesley R. Card, Chief Operating
and Financial Officer of Jones Apparel Group, Inc. (NYSE: JNY), today
announced the appointment of Tami Fersko to Chief Financial Officer,
Denim-Based Collection business. In this capacity, Ms. Fersko will have
financial oversight for the denim-based collection businesses, comprised of
Polo Jeans Company, l.e.i., and Sun Apparel. Ms. Fersko joined Jones Apparel
Group in September 1998 through the acquisition of Sun Apparel where she most
recently held the position of Senior Vice President Operations and Finance. Mr. Card also announced the appointment of Joe Kaelin to the position of
Controller, who will report directly to Ms. Fersko. Mr. Kaelin began his
career at Jones Apparel in 1996 and most recently was the Accounting Manager
for the Sun Apparel division. Mr. Card stated, "I wish to congratulate both Tami and Joe on their new
appointments and look forward to their continued contributions to the overall
