(NYSE: JNY), today announced the appointment of Aida Tejero-DeColli to Senior Vice President Human Resources of Jones Apparel Group. In this capacity, Ms. DeColli maintains broad responsibility for the Human Resources activities of all of the Company's operating divisions.

Ms. DeColli joined Jones Apparel Group in 1994, and most recently has held the title of Corporate Vice President Human Resources. This appointment is in acknowledgement of her outstanding contribution to the success of Jones Apparel Group and we look forward to her continued fine performance. Ms. DeColli has a Masters of Science Degree in Human Resource Management and also holds a Law Degree from Georgia State University.
