WHAT: The Pittsburgh Steelers will hold a press conference Friday,
June 15 at 10 a.m. at the new football stadium on the North Shore to
make an announcement regarding a major stadium development.

WHO: Key principals involved in the announcement, including Steelers
vice president Arthur J. Rooney II, will participate in the press
conference.

WHEN: 10:00 a.m., FRIDAY, JUNE 15, 2001

WHERE: The press conference will be held on North Shore Drive at the
south end of the stadium (near the old Mansfield Bridge Stanchion).

There will be exceptional opportunities for television and
photographers. For any special interview or photo requests, please

NOTE: In case of inclement weather, media representatives should wear
proper attire -- hard-sole shoes and slacks (no shorts or dresses) --
because the press conference will be moved inside the stadium
