BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 2011-- Aetna (NYSE: AET) and Einstein Healthcare Network announced that they have reached agreement on a four-year contract renewal, maintaining network access for Aetna members in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

With this agreement, members of Aetna commercial and Medicare plans can receive covered benefits, at in-network rates, from Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia; Einstein Medical Center Elkins Park; Montgomery Hospital and Medical Center; and MossRehab.

The contract also includes 500 physicians employed by the Einstein Healthcare Network and the Fomance Physician Group.

Aetna provides health benefits to more than 1 million members in Pennsylvania. In Southeastern Pennsylvania, members have access to a network that includes 89 hospitals and more than 15,000 primary care and specialist physicians.
